Gmail offers a easy way to allow instant switching between multiple accounts (This is not a third party application but from Google itself)
1. Login into your primary gmail account (default account that you use the most)
2. At the top right of your mailbox, next to your login name, there is a "wheel logo", click and select "Account settings"
3. At the account settings page, edit "Multiple sign-in" right below Email addresses under Personal Settings.
4. Choose "On" and check the options.
5. Now login into your default account.
6. To switch account, go to the top right, click on your login name.
7. Click on Switch account. You are required to enter your another account's username and password. Otherwise, select the account once you already login in.
Well, you ask me, it makes my life so much easier now without constantly login and out just to manage multiple email accounts.

G-mail is a nice google mail service provider. I follow your steps and now I am enable multiple sign-in with my Gmail and gain access multiple Gmail accounts simultaneously.
