The subscriptions don't require a credit card or anything like it. You just need to fill out a short form with your contact info, and some details about the industry you work in. If you qualify based on your job's industry, title, etc, then the publisher will send you the magazine. The reason for the qualifying part is so that a publisher doesn't send Oracle magazine to a chef or something like that. They want to make sure they send magazines to people who are actually interested and can benefit from them.
